My name is Billy Deakin and I started Boa-Care.com as a way to give back knowledge and educate people about boas and snake keeping. I have been caring for snakes and other reptiles for over 25 years and during that time I have read many books, met with many breeders and reptile enthusiasts, and visited many reptile shows and centers across the UK and overseas.

I have learned what does, and doesn’t work when it comes to repile husbandry, and in particular keeping and handling boas. This site is ever growing and is the culmination of many years experience which I hope will ensure other reptile enthusiasts and snake lovers will find extremely useful. Hopefully with this information you will make fewer mistakes, and be able to keep, and handle boas safely and properly.
